As Charlotte Raceway Ministries begins their 2021 season of ministry at Charlotte Motor Speedway — with the huge Memorial Day weekend of ARCA & NASCAR racing — NFRM director Roger Marsh interviews CRM directors Jeff and Maria Murray. Through the conversation, Dr. Marsh shares a little about the rich history of Charlotte Motor Speedway and Raceway Ministries’ beginnings at that raceway, and then the Murray’s share details about how their Memorial Day race weekend went. Woven in and out of the conversation some great tips for effective Raceway Ministries work are discussed, including — great ideas for good relations with speedway staff; creative and awesome ideas for outreach to race fans; and some excellent suggestions for recruiting, scheduling and organizing ministry volunteers.
