Our Mission
Raceway Ministries offers the racing community opportunities to experience God's love through a variety of strategies -- guest services, chaplain assistance, chapel experiences, a building relationships with people with a view toward sharing God's hope in Jesus Christ. This mission is accomplished by working with raceway staff and being available to race fans and others to address their needs.

Whether it is outreach to fans at a large speedway where NASCAR, IndyCar or other series compete, or a weekly short track where racers gather to take the green flag at their local speedway, Raceway Ministries seeks to be present with Raceway Ministries teams and chaplains. Our chaplains and teams are ready to serve in a variety of ways to share God's Good News in Christ. Raceway Ministries teams and chaplains can be found at racing venues from the West Coast to the East Coast, and from the deep South and Southwest all the way up to New England!

What Does Ministry at a Raceway
Look Like?
Basically, Raceway Ministries is following God's leadership to create opportunities to share God's love in Christ with all kinds of people in the motorsports world! In the midst of NASCAR or IndyCar fans, it may be through children's activities, hospitality and friendly faces at a location in the campground, providing rides on trams or golf carts, or a Sunday morning campground church service. At the local weekly short track, it may be serving as a chaplain or part of a chaplain team -- praying with drivers or race teams, leading the race invocation, outreach to the fans, or simply hanging out with the teams and building trusting relationships. Creating these opportunities often leads to opportunities to conversations and expressions of faith for a relationship to God by faith in Christ.
"but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."
